I am a dreamer. I'm a lover of life and art. Family is my heart.

Hupp is my married name, Showalter is my maiden name. I am an award winning and published, professional photographer based out of Gillespie, IL. (Take a look at the Q&A section, to see just how far I will travel.) My main focus is small Children & Families, but those are no where near my limits.

Joyful & natural moments, rich laughter, and glorious sunsets are the essence of what brings my visions to life.

Before photography, portraits were art. Artists were commissioned to paint portraits that were beautifully framed for hanging on walls and in galleries. Cameras make it easy to capture every moment of our lives, but when it comes to portraits, I think it's important to have more than just a snapshot. My photography isn't just snapshots that are captured, processed and delivered in bulk; my photography is an investment in artfully crafted memories.

I'm in my early 30's. Illinois, born & raised. I am a wife to a wonderfully supportive husband, a mommy to two spectacular sons & one beautiful daughter, a step-mother to 2 amazing gals, a sister to 3 incredible women & a daughter to 2 parents, that worked hard to raise decent women. I'm a sunshine chaser, avid baker, music lovin', 7up fueled, family oriented, Christmas fanatic kind of gal. I'm typically a quiet, shy type of person. Photography has been a big help to me coming out of my shell & getting to know some amazing people that are definitely worth knowing! I'm a friendly & understanding person.
